Job summary

AMT is seeking an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer in Towson, MD, starting May 2027 after graduation. You will work on stormwater, drainage, culverts, bridges, and erosion controls in a hybrid office/remote setup.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources.
• Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modeling with commonly used software.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Exam preferred.
• Design knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and reporting.
• Collect and analyze data for mapping and reporting.
• Design of open and closed drainage systems, stormwater management facilities and erosion and sediment controls.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documents (plans, reports, cost estimates and specifications) for Advertisement and Construction.
• Obtain permit approvals from state and local agencies.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members.
