CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

You will partner with project managers and teams to provide insights and control costs. The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of project management methodologies, familiarity with Primavera P6, EcoSys, and strong communication skills while working in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Supports compliance with internal procedures; gathers progress data to update schedules and costs.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs and updates requirements.
• Performs routine financial analyses and prepares status reports.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements.
• Maintains integrated critical path schedules for portions of routine projects and portfolios.
• Generates earned value reports and discusses observations with management.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project documentation.
• Performs other duties as required.
