Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Associate – Entry Level to join our team in Iowa. You will assist Project Managers with design solutions across public and private projects, using various graphics tools and media.

You will learn to prepare construction documents and engage in client relations while gaining an AXP experience. Responsibilities include site visits, creating design ideas, and supporting schematic through construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university; entry-level role.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in architectural projects preferred.
• Experience with graphics software and constructing design documents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites to document existing conditions.
• Assist in design development and construction documents preparation.
• Support client presentation materials creation using design software.
• Collaborate with design team and project managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate, legible project documentation and data for compliance.
• Provide general project team support and coordination among partners.
• Communicate openly within the team and with project managers.
