Placements24 partners with a leading renewable energy company to hire a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect. The role centers on designing and guiding enterprise IT solutions that support energy management, logistics, and data analytics, with a hybrid work setup and regular collaboration at the Upington offices.

You will work with business and technical teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT architecture, design, and systems integration.
• Experience with enterprise-level solutions in energy/industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of microservices, SOA, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data management, analytics, and IoT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions integrating diverse systems.
• Create architectural blueprints, standards, and guidelines.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and vendors to meet needs.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams through lifecycle.
• Lead architectural reviews and enforce principles.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Manage architectural risks and dependencies on major programs.
• Stay informed on energy sector trends and technologies.
