Qualifications

• Strong background within systems engineering/systems integration.
• Project leadership experience within manufacturing.
• Experience integrating software and hardware projects.
• Hands-on coding (any language) experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of embedded software, vision systems, controls, and related hardware.
• Oversee a team of engineers and the successful delivery of embedded systems projects.
• Establish clear performance goals, mentor engineering team, and provide feedback.
• Manage project timelines, scope, resource planning, and change management.
• Partner with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system performance.
• Create and implement best practices for embedded software development.
• Develop and enforce a structured testing and release strategy.
• Define test cases, performance benchmarks, and failure criteria for validation processes.
• Implement a revision control system for software releases to support field reliability.
• Encourage a culture of responsibility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
