Job summary

Numeral seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer in a hybrid role, blending customer-facing work with hands-on software development. You will collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to solve complex technical problems while building features and automation that scale the platform.

The role requires 2–5 years of software engineering, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and experience with SQL databases. You’ll own projects end-to-end and work directly with customers to drive impactful product

Qualifications

• 2–5 years software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js preferred) or other backend language.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success on technical conversations and onboarding.
• Debug customer issues across APIs, integrations, and production systems.
• Design and build features, tooling, and automations to improve customer experience and engineering velocity.
• Own engineering projects end-to-end from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Translate customer workflows into product improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to API enhancements, developer experience, and operational tooling.
