THE FORWARD DEPLOYED ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY

As a Full-Stack Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers to design, build, and deploy technical solutions that solve real-world business challenges. This is a hands‑on role combining software engineering, technical consulting, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support discovery workshops and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyse customer systems, integrations, and data flows to identify implementation requirements.
• Build, maintain, and enhance APIs, webhooks, integrations, and data ingestion capabilities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve implementation challenges during customer deployments.
• Monitor application performance, deliver fixes, and support successful project handovers to operational teams.

YOUR KEY SKILLS

• Commercial experience developing software using modern programming languages.
• Strong understanding of REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, and integrated data environments.
• Ability to work directly with customers and stakeholders to solve technical challenges.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high engineering standards.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience.
