AlixPartners is seeking an Engagement Accounting Analyst in Southfield, MI, within Corporate Services Accounting. This hybrid, full-time role partners with client engagement teams and finance to optimize working capital, invoicing accuracy, and cash collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Relevant accounting/finance experience preferred, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English with ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work in process and assist in client invoicing per contract terms.
• Manage time and expense fee adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and advances/retainers.
• Communicate issues around accounts receivable and working capital to ensure accurate invoicing and cash collection.
• Assist in reviewing client contracts, addendums, and extensions and their impact on invoicing.
• Support improvements to working capital processes and AI-enabled tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional and collaborative behavior.
