AlixPartners in Southfield, MI is seeking an Engagement Accounting Analyst on a contract basis (4–6 months). The role partners with client engagement teams to manage WIP and AR, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely cash collection.

Must handle confidential information with professionalism and adapt to nonstandard issues. Required: accounting/finance background, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in accounting/finance preferred, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Monitor work in process on engagements and assist in client invoicing according to contract terms.
• Coordinate with engagement teams to ensure timely time and expense adjustments, write-offs, and advances are applied correctly.
• Communicate issues around accounts receivable and WIP to ensure accurate invoicing and cash collection.
• Promote and support improvements to working capital management processes; utilize AI tools as appropriate.
• Support the order-to-cash value stream, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and cash application.
