Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks an Energy Manager in Houston to lead energy strategy for the AMG business, drive decarbonization efforts, and report to the VP of Production & Project Execution. You will shape energy monitoring, cost management, and supplier relations while aligning with corporate guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 7+ years in energy markets, and strong analytic, negotiation, and regulatory cost design skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in energy markets or LI business model.
• Understanding of Electricity Markets in North America (regulated & deregulated).
• Knowledge of industrial gas cost structures and supply chains.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities to create value.
• Ability to influence management and external parties effectively.
• Experience with commercial agreements and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Energy monitoring, analysis, and data collection to support forward price risk.
• Develop and execute energy strategy and targets for cost management.
• Lead load control, demand response, and supplier negotiations.
• Procure and retire renewable energy certificates in line with guidelines.
• Support preparation of energy budgets and regulatory cost design.
