Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks a Director of Energy to lead energy strategy, risk management and decarbonization efforts for the AMG business in Houston or Cleveland. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on management of energy contracts, market analysis and cost optimization across regulated and deregulated markets.

Based in Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH on a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office), you will partner with Business Development, Supply Chain and Finance to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Deep understanding of Electricity Markets in North America (regulated and deregulated).
• Analytical and communication skills to influence leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop AMG Energy Strategy to minimize cost while managing risk.
• Create and maintain plant energy cost models for facilities.
• Monitor energy markets and coordinate with stakeholders across functions.
• Ensure continuity of supply and secure renewable energy sources.
• Negotiate favorable energy purchase contracts and rate designs.
