Job summary

Resource Innovations in Arizona is hiring an Energy Modeling Consultant to support HOMES and HEEHR programs. You will lead energy audits, calibrate modeling software, and finalize equipment with customers, while QA/QC’ing both interiors and field inspections.

The role blends field work with remote office responsibilities and requires strong communication, leadership, and building science knowledge to drive high-quality energy solutions for income-based participants.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Arizona within 30 days of acceptance.
• Must obtain a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for local travel up to 25-75% of the time.
• 2+ years of experience in quality control/QA or consulting, energy efficiency or utility experience.
• Knowledge of building science, construction and technical expertise is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (limited overnight travel).
• Experience with SnuggPro is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Energy Modeling: review audit data for QA and calibrate models to meet BPI requirements.
• Customer interaction: finalize equipment with customers, generate work orders, collect signatures.
• On-site: conduct assessments or field inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Develops and implements energy audit protocols, QA/QC requirements and plans.
• Reviews QC findings and remedies inaccuracies; reports on performance metrics.
