Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking a Transmission and Congestion Associate to lead modeling and pricing of congestion across our ISO portfolio. Working with senior analytics leaders, you will implement the LRE Congestion Plan, identify risks, and help grow the company’s congestion analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining congestion models, analyzing large data sets, and producing nodal LMP forecasts for PJM, ERCOT, MISO, and CAISO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or business.
• 3–5 years in congestion, transmission, or energy market analytics.
• Experience with transmission modeling and ISO markets (PJМ, ERCOT, CAISO) preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Research, model, and price congestion fundamentals in multiple ISOs.
• Validate and analyze congestion models for accuracy.
• Manage large data sets to identify trading opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Perform quantitative analyses of energy markets and translate changes into opportunities.
• Maintain and calibrate power flow optimization models for trading strategies.
• Provide daily market congestion analyses to inform decisions.
• Develop and execute the LRE Congestion Plan.
