Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Energy, Building Science, Construction Management or related discipline (or substitution rule applies)
• 2+ years of experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, or public-sector energy efficiency projects
• Must pass background check, valid driver’s license, and MVR/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Review incentive applications including baseline determination, savings calculations, and documentation for compliance with program requirements
• Prepare reviews of energy savings calculations for HVAC, BAS, lighting and industrial equipment to evaluate energy savings and eligibility
• Analyze interval and monthly utility energy data using spreadsheets and data analysis tools
• Provide guidance on baseline selection for existing buildings and new construction and prepare EM&V plans for energy savings verification
• Assist customers and trade partners on energy-efficient technologies and practices
• Assess whole-building efficiency strategies and provide upgrade recommendations
• Conduct pre- and post-implementation site visits for energy efficiency projects
• Prepare status reports describing activities and project completion
• Hybrid work requires reporting to Columbia, MD ICF office at least twice weekly with up to 20% local travel
