Job summary

Exelon is seeking an EMS support engineer to maintain the transmission grid data, support the State Estimator and Contingency Analysis, and update EMS models and iTOA at our Kennett Square, PA office in a hybrid role.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, perform complex engineering analyses, and help develop operating procedures to ensure safe and reliable power delivery. The position sits in Kennett Square with in-office days expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Familiar with regulations, guides, standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent engineering analysis and present recommendations.
• Handle large or multiple projects with complex power flow studies.
• Assist in design of high voltage transmission and distribution circuits and verify standards.
• Provide technical support to System Operations staff and evaluate current processes.
