Job summary

Exelon seeks an EMS support engineer to maintain the digital representation of the transmission grid within the ESG, supporting EMS and iTOA data and functionality, with real-time engineering support focused on State Estimator and Contingency Analysis.

This hybrid role sits in Kennett Square, PA, with in-office three days per week (Tue–Thu). You will develop operating procedures and perform complex analyses to assist System Operations and planning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of problem solving approaches and engineering theory.
• Familiarity with regulations, standards and practices in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with independent discretion under guidance.
• Contribute to large or multiple small projects with complex analyses.
• Lead engineering tasks on projects and verify designs against standards.
• Provide technical support to System Operations staff (State Estimator & Contingency Analysis).
