Not disclosed law firm in California seeks an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney in San Diego/Los Angeles/San Francisco with 3+ years of employment litigation experience. Hybrid/work-from-home options available for candidates in San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.
• Strong legal writing skills with attention to detail.
• Effective oral advocacy and client communication skills.
• Comfortable handling court appearances and depositions/mediations.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of California and federal procedures.

Responsabilités

• Defend employer clients in single-plaintiff employment litigation in court and arbitration.
• Investigate and respond to administrative charges.
• Analyze liability and damages and develop case strategy.
• Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery; take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial or arbitration.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel.
