Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a dedicated Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our Client Experience team. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, managing renewals, open enrollment, and day-to-day benefits administration with a focus on exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of employee benefits products, strong relationship management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Active L&H insurance license required.
• 2-4 years in employee benefits account management or related role.
• Experience with mid-sized employer groups and managing multiple client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
• Familiarity with ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for client HR teams, addressing inquiries and service concerns.
• Coordinate renewals, open enrollment, and benefits administration.
• Analyze renewal options and advise on plan designs with Account Executives.
• Lead open enrollment activities and carrier transitions.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain client records and generate benefit performance reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and client experience.
