Job summary

King Technology, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to own firmware and cloud telemetry for its smart water care products.

You will bridge device firmware with cloud-connected dashboards and reporting tools, contributing across the full embedded stack from sensors to cloud dashboards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with C/C++ in embedded systems, RTOS or bare-metal environments, and wireless protocols (BLE/Wi‑Fi/LoRa).

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–8 years of professional embedded systems/firmware experience.
• Professional experience developing embedded software with C/C++.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, and UART protocols.
• Wireless protocol experience (BLE/Wi-Fi/LoRa) preferred.
• Experience with telemetry or IoT devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M/ESP32 or similar.
• Support RTOS-based or bare-metal embedded applications.
• Interface with sensors using I2C/SPI/UART; integrate peripherals.
• Implement BLE, Wi‑Fi, and LoRa wireless connectivity.
• Troubleshoot hardware/firmware interactions with debugging tools.
• Support device-to-cloud communication and telemetry reporting.
• Help develop internal and customer dashboards for product reporting.
• Own deployed firmware and contribute to ongoing product development.
• Collaborate with engineering, product teams, consultants, and partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
