Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Embedded Software Developer for Drives Power Conversion in a hybrid setup in Finland. You will design, code, test, and optimize embedded software in C/C++ for power conversion systems, closely collaborating with hardware, system, and product teams.

We value at least 3 years of hands-on embedded development, experience with RTOS and Embedded Linux, and strong debugging and scripting skills. English communication is essential for collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Solid programming in C and C++, with Linux/RTOS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for power conversion applications.
• Implement software for microcontrollers and processors with RTOS.
• Integrate software with hardware components and communication protocols.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain embedded applications across the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
