Qualifications

• 2-5 years of successful experience in embedded software
• Experience in developing for real-time embedded devices
• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink
• Proficient in C, C++ or C#
• Experience with test automation and scripting (Python)
• Hands-on hardware/software development and debugging
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and defect tracking
• Knowledge of secure coding techniques and interfaces to hardware subsystems
• Strong documentation and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, maintain and support new products for proprietary control systems
• Perform sophisticated tests and investigations for new designs and methods
• Improve and extend the existing software suite and develop new applications
• Prepare engineering reports and review code with peers
• Coordinate with Test Lab on software and hardware testing
• Build test scripts for testing code
