Job summary

Franklin Electric is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Fort Wayne, IN to develop motor control software for company products. You will design, implement, test, and maintain embedded software across product lines, applying DSP and advanced control techniques.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control strategies, support production test equipment, and assist customers with technical issues, while contributing to a diverse, innovative engineering culture at Franklin

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
5+ years of relevant engineering experience required.
Proficient in embedded C/C++ and motor control concepts.

Responsibilities

Develops products per software design procedures.
Designs, simulates, codes, and debugs motor control algorithms and applications in C languages.
Develops software for internal and customer product lines.
Tests and maintains software implemented in product lines.
Performs root cause analysis and provides solutions for issues.
Writes and tests verification protocols for product lines.
Provides technical support to customers.
Performs other related duties as required.
