Innova Solutions in Camden, NJ is hiring a Software Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role involves translating requirements into robust software for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers, with emphasis on embedded development and real-time OS environments.

You will work within a Scrum team across the SDLC, collaborate with hardware and software stakeholders, and contribute to system interfaces and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years of experience developing applications on simulated and target hardware.
• Usage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into working and maintainable software for C5 and Cyber Solution Centers.
• Apply technical proficiency across stages of the SDLC and collaborate with stakeholders to scope tasks.
• Participate as a key team member on a Scrum team and help set direction for product and infrastructure development.
• Provide guidance as a subject matter expert in embedded software development.
• Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions with or without a team.
• Develop software test plans and procedures and document technical details.
