Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions division in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to design, development, testing, and release of embedded software for next-generation power management systems.

You will work with global cross-functional teams to deliver SiC-based three-phase power conversion systems for mission-critical facilities, including data centers, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Real-time firmware development experience for embedded systems.
• Experience translating system requirements into embedded software architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging of hardware-software interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and release embedded software in C/C++ for real-time control of three-phase power electronics.
• Collaborate with global teams to support new product launches with SiC-based power conversion systems.
• Evaluate architecture options balancing cost, performance, and schedule.
• Support FPGA HDL implementations and HDL toolchains for digital control.
