Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). You will design and develop high-power three-phase UPS, energy storage, and SST products from concept to production.

Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, simulate circuits, validate designs, and support testing and prototype builds, with a focus on safety, reliability, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years' work experience with power electronics, or a Master’s with at least one year in power electronics.
• Experience with inverter design, battery systems, and protective devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products from concept to production meeting safety, quality, reliability, cost and schedule commitments.
• Design and develop products with global cross-functional teams (UPS, energy storage, SST).
• Review data and simulate power electronics, analog, and digital circuits; drive Six Sigma concepts.
• Collaborate with electrical lead, meet cost and performance goals, interface with vendors, and support DVT, validation testing, and prototype builds.
