Job summary

Dallas College is seeking a Testing Services Specialist to support the Senior Manager in operating a multi-campus Testing Services Department. You will assist with TSIA administration, school district partnerships, and related outreach for on-site and off-site testing activities.

You will contribute to program operations, testing security, data reporting, and compliance with THECB/TEA regulations, while collaborating with Admissions, Registrar, and Academic Affairs to support student success.

• Ability to apply technology platforms to support the student experience.
• Experience with student success programs in higher education.
• Knowledge of testing and assessment technology and resources.
• Understanding of THECB/TEA rules for GED testing and related programs.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse communities.
• Understanding of Admissions, Registrar, Testing and Academic Affairs interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication between students, faculty and external stakeholders.
• Follow up with applicants through enrollment processes in a timely manner.
• Support GED, placement and national testing programs and related computer-based testing.
• Administer and monitor tests, ensure security, verify eligibility and identity.
• Access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate findings.
• Interpret and implement regulations from THECB/TEA for testing services.
• Prepare reports, proposals and recommendations for programs; keep records.
• Represent the Senior Manager when absent and cover duties as needed.
• Conduct presentations and workshops on Testing policies to staff and communities.
• Complete required Dallas College Professional Development hours annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
