Job summary

The role covers cross-training across Student Financial Services, including Account Services and Collections, with emphasis on empathy, confidentiality, and detailed planning. Hybrid work after onboarding is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; combined experience/education acceptable.
• Experience in customer service, financial services, or related field.
• Ability to interpret complex financial documentation and policies.

Responsibilities

• Guide students and families on financial obligations and payment options.
• Review accounts and explain charges, credits, payments, and balances.
• Counsel on payment plans, loans, deferments, and other arrangements.
• Process account activity with accuracy and proper documentation.
• Resolve issues and waivers per established guidelines.
• Maintain accounts and update information; handle holds and updates.
• Deliver exceptional service via phone, email, and in person.
• Back-office data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid and Registrar; identify process improvements.
• Stay current with policies and regulations affecting student finance.
