Job summary

The Bowen Group (a GTSC Company) is seeking a Leave & Benefits Specialist in Chantilly, VA. The role administers federal, state, and contract-specific leave programs (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, STD) and supports benefits administration, including invoice reconciliation and vendor coordination.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of leave program experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with HRIS/benefits systems.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience administering employee leave programs.
• In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, SCA, and related leave laws.
• Experience with benefits processes, including premium tracking and invoice reconciliation.
• Proficiency with HRIS and provider portals; strong ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process FMLA leave requests and ensure regulatory timelines.
• Evaluate ADA accommodations and coordinate interactive process documentation.
• Coordinate STD needs and liaise with third‑party administrators.
• Process USERRA leave requests and maintain accurate records.
• Draft leave-related correspondence and manage return-to-work processes.
