Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Benefits Leaves Specialist to manage a wide range ofHR responsibilities with a strong focus on leave administration, disability management, and workers' compensation coordination.

This hybrid role supports employees and managers, coordinating with payroll and third-party vendors to ensure compliant, timely case handling and engagement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience.
• Experience managing leaves and workers' compensation workflows.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, PFML, ADA, workers' comp laws.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer leaves of absence (FMLA, PFML, disability, etc.).
• Serve as liaison among employees, managers, payroll, HR, and vendors.
• Track leave and WC cases from start to return to work with proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure payroll processing during leaves.
• Monitor return-to-work dates and accommodations with leadership.
