Job summary

North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Applications Engineer II to deliver pre- and post-sales technical support and translate customer requirements into design-in opportunities. You will coordinate with engineering to resolve design-in challenges and ensure smooth customer communication.

The role reports to the AE Manager in a hybrid setup with onsite days in Bohemia, NY, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• BSEE / BSET or a four year degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Some knowledge of embedded Bus architectures (VME, CPCI, etc.), Processors and/or related products is a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently toward focused goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre & post sales product information, advice and technical assistance to prospects towards the goal of achieving new design wins.
• Understand project technical system requirements via phone and email.
• Advise and participate with the prospect during customer test and evaluation activities.
• Serve as the first-line technical interface during the design-in process and coordinate with engineering for support.
