Job summary

Future Electronics is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for customer circuit design and system development. You will present to customers, introduce supplier products, and deliver technical sales training to customers and regional sales teams.

You will work with the Regional Director, SAMs, and Product Marketing to develop demand creation programs, drive sales growth, and strengthen customer and manufacturer relationships in your region.

Qualifications

• Requires BSEE/BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering; MSEE preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive embedded system design experience in two areas (e.g., Power conversion).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support and early-stage system solution consultation to assigned customers.
• Deliver design guidance, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution throughout the customer’s design lifecycle.
• Train and guide sales teams with varying levels of technical expertise to maximize ROI on demand creation activities.
• Execute programs that strengthen and leverage customer and manufacturer relationships.
• Support suppliers through seminars, customer-site training, technical sales initiatives, and marketing programs.
• Apply engineering expertise to develop and execute business strategies positioning supplier products with key design engineers.
• Drive accelerated revenue growth by aligning technical solutions with customer needs.
• Document customer activity through CRM entries.
