Siemens is seeking a Procurement Project Manager for Electrical Products to advance procurement strategies across North America. The role focuses on leading strategic projects, supplier development, and cross-functional alignment to balance risk, capacity, and cost.

Based in a hybrid environment across the USA, the position requires strong project management and manufacturing knowledge, with experience in tools like Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel to analyze data and support sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• 3+ years of relevant procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or operations experience.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% to North American operational sites and supplier facilities.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic procurement projects: supplier scouting, qualification, RFQ, tooling, capacity planning and ramp-up.
• Mitigate supply chain risks by strengthening supply continuity and supporting manufacturing growth.
• Support Commodity Managers and Location Procurement Managers in developing and executing commodity, alternate sourcing, and plant procurement strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing and project execution with business objectives.
• Lead supplier development and industrialization activities with Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to shorten cycle times and drive cost savings.
• Participate in PLM processes, integrating supplier capabilities and procurement requirements into product decisions.
