VAA is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a hybrid role to design power systems for industrial facilities, including seed oil, specialty chemical, grain handling, and feed mills. The role emphasizes problem solving and collaboration on design documents, calculations, and specifications.

You will perform load flow and short-circuit analyses, coordinate with disciplines, travel up to 5% to construction sites, and contribute to proposals and project estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Develop design solutions in a team setting.
• Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate designs and review project documents for quality and coordination with disciplines.
• Perform site observations during construction and prepare reports.
• Support peers and junior engineers through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Travel up to 5% to construction sites.
