Job summary

Actalent in Troy, NY is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical design and construction documents for commercial building power, lighting and special systems. You will work under a senior engineer in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in electrical design.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• PE license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design team and stakeholders.
• Assist in concept planning and review of system options.
• Perform power and lighting load calculations using applicable software.
• Perform selective coordination, short circuit, and arc flash calculations.
• Work with vendors for equipment selection and specifications.
• Create construction documents using 3D Revit MEP.
• Support construction administration and field troubleshooting.
• Participate in department meetings to establish design standards.
