Job summary

Jobot seeks a Sr Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. You will contribute to electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems for commercial buildings, with strong Revit and AutoCAD capabilities.

Lead design teams, coordinate disciplines, and interface with clients to define success criteria. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in the MEP field, EIT certification, and a willingness to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher).
• 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry.
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus.
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience coordinating with other disciplines on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling).
• Coordinate all design disciplines to ensure a comprehensive, code-compliant design.
• Serve as the Owner’s representative during construction (RFI response, Submittal review, Site inspections).
• Provide mentorship to less experienced designers and engineers.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs, constraints and criteria for success.
