Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Drafter to support electrical power distribution projects in Denver, CO. The role involves producing 2D/3D drawings, plan and profile work, and collaboration with multiple engineers using AutoCAD and MicroStation in a hybrid environment.

The qualified candidate will gain NESC expertise, electrical power calculations, and cross-disciplinary exposure while working under mentorship in a fast-paced setting. 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 1+ years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficiency in drafting principles, techniques and procedures.
• Ability to create/modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with file sharing and document management tools like ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2D and/or 3D drawings in support of the distribution team.
• Create plan and profile drawings for overhead and underground projects.
• Develop and maintain standards and processes for the Distribution team.
• Support remote office CAD workload with coordination across Leidos offices.
