Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Intermediate Level Designer to join a multi-disciplinary team and deliver projects for the semiconductor manufacturing industry in a hybrid role. You will design electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications layouts using AutoCAD and coordinate with engineers to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of AutoCAD experience, proficiency with one-line and riser diagrams, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout including one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan view drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication, organization and self-performance skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and prepare drawings for electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications for manufacturing tools.
• Coordinate directly with engineers and package leads to balance workload and deliver packages under tight deadlines.
