Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to shape electrical layouts and 2D/3D models for advanced manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor plants. You’ll work with AutoCAD and Revit MEP and coordinate with engineers to meet client expectations and schedules.

The role includes mentoring junior designers, developing staffing plans, and ensuring compliance with NEC and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of electrical design experience.
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical layouts, sketches and 2D/3D models for advanced facilities.
• Coordinate complex electrical packages with engineers and design leads.
• Develop staffing plans and manage project schedules.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance to drafters.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations, budget, and schedule requirements.
