Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to work on advanced manufacturing projects, including semiconductor plants. The role involves CAD drafting and 2D/3D modeling of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems using AutoCAD and Revit.

The candidate will prepare layouts, coordinate with engineers, mentor junior team members, and ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical design experience.
• At least 2 years of Revit design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical layouts, sketches and 2D/3D models for advanced facilities.
• Coordinate complex electrical packages with engineers and design leads.
• Develop staffing plans and manage project schedules.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance to drafters.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations, budget, and schedule requirements.
