Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II at its Aguadilla, PR site to design and integrate PCB hardware for aerospace systems. The role blends hands-on circuit design with cross‑functional collaboration across power, digital, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

A strong emphasis on documenting work and meeting AS9100 quality practices is required. You will gain exposure to today’s and tomorrow’s technologies while working in a hybrid setup with on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB design tasks including requirements review, schematic development, documentation, basic signal integrity considerations, board stack‑up definition, and coordination with layout engineers.
• Support creation of hardware test plans and assist with hardware integration and troubleshooting activities.
• Design, verify, test, and support analog/digital electronic hardware with moderate guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver hardware that meets system requirements.
• Follow AS9100 quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development practices.
• Communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written formats.
• Maintain organization, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple priorities to support project deadlines.
