Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking a hardware design engineer for mixed-signal electronics and RF systems. You will perform circuit design lifecycle activities, capture requirements, create schematics, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust hardware solutions for aerospace applications.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and hands-on testing skills with ECAD tools. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, and analysis.
• Design, develop, and integrate Collins products within communication systems and test solutions in multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, test interfaces, cabling, drawings, schematics and analysis.
• Contribute to all stages of development; assist in managing technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop hardware designs that meet performance and operational specs.
