Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Project Manager specializing in electrical/construction to lead multifamily and affordable housing developments in the Oakland area. This permanent role offers budget management, change orders, scheduling, cost forecasting, and oversight of tools like Bluebeam and Procore.

Responsibilities include managing projects from start to finish, developing budgets, tracking costs, coordinating submittals and RFIs, reviewing drawings, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in multifamily and affordable housing development projects.
• Strong budgeting, change order management, scheduling, and cost forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multifamily construction and affordable housing projects end-to-end.
• Develop and manage project budgets, change orders, and schedules.
• Forecast project costs and allocate resources effectively.
• Use Bluebeam and Procore to streamline project processes.
• Oversee electrical systems, submittals & RFIs, and construction drawings review.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Handle estimating, budgeting, contract management, risk management, and negotiation.
• Implement cost-control measures and planning strategies.
• Resolve problems quickly to keep projects on track.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
