Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating safety and health or environmental activities in a manufacturing environment, including industrial hygiene work.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, collaborate across multiple sites, and lead and coach teams through system implementation and continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of safety, environmental, and health systems and compliance requirements, including chemical management, confined space, radiation, lasers, hearing conservation, industrial hygiene, Permit to Work, machine safety and lockout/tagout, work at heights, behavior‑based safety, personal protective equipment, stormwater, wastewater, spill response, and hazardous waste.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with audiences that have varied backgrounds and levels of technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute site safety, environmental, and health initiatives, strategies, programs, and procedures.
• Partner with sites to manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability performance metrics and support consistent execution of corporate programs.
• Provide expertise and participate in global incident investigations and root-cause analysis processes.
• Participate in audits and inspections; update and monitor systems; implement and track action plans; benchmark performance; support audits at other sites.
• Drive implementation of best‑in‑class safety programs, systems, and processes, including training and coaching on environmental, health, and safety measures.
