Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Corporate Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Specialist. This hybrid role will be located in Ewing, New Jersey, with in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

The role will support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, safety, and sustainability systems across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years coordinating safety, health or environmental activities in a manufacturing setting, including industrial hygiene.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multiple sites with leadership and teams.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental and health systems and compliance requirements including chemical management, confined space, radiation, lasers, hearing conservation, industrial hygiene, Permit to Work, machine safety and lockout/tagout, work at heights, behavior-based safety, PPE, stormwater, wastewater, spill response, and hazardous waste.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate to varied audiences.
• Strong training and presentation skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute site safety, environmental, and health initiatives across locations.
• Manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability performance metrics and ensure consistent program execution.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis processes.
• Participate in audits and inspections; update systems; track corrective actions and benchmarks.
• Drive implementation of best-in-class safety programs and provide training on EHS measures.
