Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC in the United States seeks an EHS Representative to promote safe work practices, guide on policies and regulatory requirements, and support risk assessments across operating areas.

You will lead incident investigations, audits, training, and coordination with environmental teams, while working with contractors and field operations to ensure compliance and continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, environmental science, compliance, or a related discipline preferred.
• 5-8 years of EHS or directly related safety experience required.
• Oil and gas safety experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced hazard recognition and operational risk assessment skills.
• Working knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Promote and verify safe work practices among employees and contractors in assigned operating areas (EHS).
• Provide guidance and support on EHS policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in hazard studies and risk reviews for projects and operations.
• Support planning for high-risk work including confined spaces, lifts, and energy isolation.
• Coordinate with environmental specialists on environmental matters identified during field activities.
