Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a qualified data analyst to support the Health Information Technology BEHR team. You will maintain and enhance BEHR backend components for inpatient and outpatient EHRs, ensuring data quality and generating routine and ad hoc reports to meet hospital needs.

Role involves collaborating with informatics managers, participating in BEHR implementation workstreams, and providing analysis for workflow improvements in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in Data Analysis or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems and data analysis in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops and enhances BEHR back end for inpatient/outpatient EHR modules.
• Performs data quality checks and ad-hoc reporting for hospital operations.
• Upgrades, maintenance, and reporting design for BEHR and related tools.
• Participates in user groups to gather system specifications for BEHR modifications.
