Job summary

The State of Colorado, Department of Health Information Technology (HIT) BEHR Team, seeks a data analytics professional to maintain and enhance the BEHR back end for hospital and outpatient data. The role focuses on data quality, reporting, and system enhancements to support civil and forensic mental health programs.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in data analysis, a related bachelor's degree, and hands-on experience with BEHR and major EHR platforms, plus HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of data analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus six years of related experience.
• Experience with BEHR and BEHR-related reporting.
• Healthcare/EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance BEHR back end for inpatient/outpatient records.
• Develop data quality and ad-hoc analyses.
• Perform system upgrades and maintenance.
• Design reports and input screens; support BEHR modifications.
• Participate in Informatics Manager groups to gather specs.
