Job summary

Zen Educate, Chicago-based ed-tech startup, is seeking a motivated sales professional to join our mission of connecting schools with vetted staff. This role offers a competitive salary, ownership in a fast-growing company, and a hybrid work model in Chicago.

As a full-time sales role, you will manage the complete sales cycle from outreach to closing, with opportunities to travel to conferences and meet school leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in education or selling to K-12 stakeholders is a hard requirement.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Sell Zen’s service offerings to charter and district leaders in your assigned territory.
• Own the full cycle sales process from outbound calling to closing deals.
• Collaborate with the School Success team to onboard new charter schools and districts.
• Work with operations and technology teams to improve value delivery for schools.
• Travel to US states for conferences, events, and school meetings as needed.
• Adapt to the dynamic startup environment and take ownership to get the job done.
