Job summary

Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to manage day-to-day eDiscovery tasks and oversee multiple projects through the lifecycle. The role involves collection, processing, and production of ESI, with collaboration across case teams and attorneys.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of eDiscovery or litigation support experience, with proficiency in Relativity, Notepad++, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant preferred.
• Familiarity with Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms.
• Thorough understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and all phases of discovery.
• Proficient in using Notepad++ and Excel, with strong data management skills.
• Project and case management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to provide off-hours monitoring when necessary, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organization, maintenance, and quality control of discovery data and case records; ensure information is accurately entered, categorized, and maintained to support document review, production, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with team to ensure data integrity and adhere to protocols; implement best practices for discovery materials.
• Act as an internal litigation support consultant to develop and support efficient discovery processes and case automation systems.
• Utilize eDiscovery software and AI tools under guidance of experienced professionals.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Relativity workspaces and databases; process, validate, and prepare data and load files.
• Stay current on rapidly changing technology developments relating to litigation support.
