Job summary

Penumbra is seeking an EDI Analyst to manage the EDI system and serve as the primary contact between Penumbra and customers for EDI issue resolution. Hybrid schedule with on-site presence at headquarters at least twice weekly, and responsibilities spanning IT, logistics, and sales collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of EDI experience, GHX familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills to support onboarding and performance improvements in the healthcare field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of EDI experience; GHX platform desirable.
• Experience in the medical device industry with hospital customers.
• Leadership experience in EDI function.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI issues and errors promptly.
• Act as liaison between Customer, CFSO, IT, Logistics, Finance and Sales to resolve EDI issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to increase EDI volume, capabilities, and performance.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and issue resolution with customers.
• Provide technical guidance on EDI to internal users and trading partners.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with customers.
• Analyze EDI data and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Maintain EDI documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Stay updated on EDI trends, technologies, and healthcare regulations.
• Ensure adherence to QMS and applicable quality regulations.
